Much like the Tendo dojo from Ranma 1/2 (almost) anything goes!
“Soul Eater uses its time wisely and is for the most part, wisely paced. It knows when to move along, when to pause after a major arc for your heroes and villians to breathe, reflect, or just have a fun moment or two before the next one.”
Soul Eater
“This title is for those are already familiar with our Persona 5 team, with subtle callbacks, so I definitely wouldn’t have this as your first title, get Royal, get the most bang for your buck, and come back here.”
Persona 5 Tactica
“I’ll admit when I first picked this up, I didn’t really get ‘the rules’ of survival horror, so I ran and gunned, picked everything up and used my ink ribbons up quickly. It too restarting a few times, and ultimately checking a walk through to really get what it was laying down. Though once I got ‘it’, here I am now talking bout it now on its 30th anniversary.”
Resident Evil 30th Anniversary: Resident Evil Remake
“…Still, for those that fancy themselves game historians/archaeologists, seeing, hearing and playing this would be like seeing paintings of your ancestors from ancient times: You can see the resemblance that carries to the present day, but also appreciate how far we’ve come.”
Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary: The Legend of Zelda (NES)
“While chronologically the first, this would also mark the last time Capcom would use the tank-controls, fixed camera angle, fight-for-storage-space, limited saves formula since the series inception.”
Resident Evil 30th Anniversary: Resident Evil 0
“This is an instance that with the benefit of modern technology, this title is far more accessible to today’s audience…There are many that would consider this the dark Link of the series. Playing as is, I would agree. Though now with modern features have made this misunderstood, ahead-of-its-time classic worth a play through again.”
